The great Google’s daylongDevFest 2015 which was organized by Google Developer Group (GDG) was hosted by IUB on Friday, 16 October 2015. This event, at its core, is powered by a shared belief that when developers come together to exchange ideas, amazing things can happen.
The event started with the session of ArifNezami, Manager, GDG followed by a number of sessions conducted by some of the amazing speakers from Google,Jaago Foundation,Telcos, and local tech giants. This included KorviRakhshand (Jaago Foundation), Hashmi Rafsanjani (Country Marketing Consultant, Google), Martin Malmstrom (MD, Bikroy.com), MuntasirHossain (Head of Digital Services, Grameenphone), SolaimanShukhon (Head of Business, aamra Smart Solutions), AshfaqueMonir (MD, Elite Mobile) and the Blue Poopers Team. The festival was also comprised of couple of coding sessions where interesting apps were developed as well. About 400 developers from many different universities and organization of the country participated in the event.
The grand event was a great success which ended with a vote of thanks by Prof. Dr. Farruk Ahmed, Professor, Dept. of CSE, IUB.
