The M.Sc. in Software Engineering degree program constitutes preparation for one of the largest and fastest-growing professions: software engineer. It recognizes the ubiquitous and growing need for new and evolving software. The degree program is founded on the principle that developers must be thoroughly practiced in understanding new requirements in diverse fields and, acting as team members or leaders, fully competent to deliver secure, reliable software.

Admission Requirements for M.Sc. Programs
Admission to the graduate program will be selective. To apply for admission, prospective candidates are advised to fulfill the criteria listed below:

Fulfilling any one of the criteria below is not required but highly encouraged
The requirements listed below are a minimum requirement for a Masters degree set by the School. Students are advised to consider their specific requirements.
For the Masters degree program, the student must undertake a minimum of 33 credits, including:
Seven courses from the core subjects: | 21 credits |
Two courses from elective subjects: | 6 credits |
Graduate project work including oral presentation : | 6 credits |
The students of project work must secure at least B grade in thesis work and a CGPA of at least 3.0 for the award of the Masters degree.
Students pursuing a Masters degree must finish all their requirements within a five-year period of continuous enrollment as a regular student.
