Details:

In this workshop, the participants will be given a brief survey of the history of logic from ancient to modern times. Along the way, related things such as puzzles, paradoxes, games etc. will be discussed. The speaker will of course talk about the people involved in the development of logic. Some of them such as Aristotle, Leibniz and Bertrand Russell are well known while others such as Boole, Hilbert and Gödel are not well known outside the mathematical community.
