Dr. Nobel Khandaker received his BS degree with honors in physics from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, and the MS and the PhD degree in computer science from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. His primary research interests include intelligent agent-supported human team formation, computer-supported collaborative learning systems, and agent-based simulation. He has published research papers in top-tier peer-reviewed conferences such as AAAI, AAMAS, and journals such as IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics. He is a recipient of the Othmer Fellowship from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. His intelligent agent supported learning software was selected as one of the Top emerging applications by AAAI organization in 2010. He is now working as a Software Engineer in the Information Protection group at Microsoft.
