Dr. Tarem Ahmed graduated Summa Cum Laude from Middlebury College, USA with a double major in Physics and Economics.  Subsequently, he obtained a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, USA, and a Doctorate in Computer Science from the International Islamic University Malaysia, Malaysia.  All of Dr. Ahmed's degrees were funded by the respective institution's scholarships.
 
During various stages in his career, Dr. Ahmed has worked in industrial product development in the Silicon Valley area of CA, USA, and in academic research at McGill University, Canada and ETH Zurich, Switzerland.  He has presented at research workshops at the University of Naples Federico II, Italy and École Normale Supérieure (ENS), France, and served as an Erasmus+ Visiting Scholar at Middle East Technical University, Turkey.
 
Dr. Ahmed is an active IEEE Senior Member.
